The Supplier Diversity Program is a proactive program which encourages the use of minority-owned, women owned, veteran owned, LGBT-owned, service disabled veteran owned, historically underutilized business. The Small Business Administration (SBA) defined small business concerns as suppliers. Through the Supplier Diversity Program, government and mid-sized to large corporations are guided to develop detailed programs that supports their spending in different categories that gives small businesses (as defined by the SBA) a fair and equal chance for earnings across the board.
